Nice Christian illustrated book for kids. It follows the journey of two children through the main milestones of Bible study - Bibliology, God’s character, and who the Holy Spirit is - explained with examples that are easy for children to understand. I think this book would make a nice gift for a Christian family with kids.
Timothy Lawrence
This is a wonderful book, beautifully illustrated with lovely messages that all children should know.
Rebecca Barnes
I like how this book makes theological ideas easy for kids to understand. The colorful pictures and everyday analogies make concepts like the Trinity and salvation, which can be very complicated to explain, clear and relatable for young children. As a parent, I love that my kids were so engaged, we had a lot of fun, and they even started asking deeper questions about faith. This is a wonderful resource for helping children grow in understanding while enjoying the learning process.
Gian Moretti

After struggling for months to explain why Jesus had to die in a way my 8-year-old could understand, this book finally gave us the breakthrough we needed! My son went from glazed-over confusion during Bible time to actually asking thoughtful questions about God, salvation, and the Holy Spirit. The full-color infographics make complex ideas like the Trinity click instantly—he keeps flipping back to his favorite pages on his own. I love that it's theologically sound while using analogies a child can grasp, and the reflection questions have sparked some of our most meaningful conversations. Every Christian parent with elementary-aged kids needs this resource on their shelf!
Carol Henderson
Turns big theological ideas into simple, memorable concepts that young kids can genuinely understand. The vibrant infographics, everyday analogies, and Scripture based lessons make faith conversations easy, engaging, and meaningful for the whole family.
Alba Peterson
Explaining abstract faith concepts to young children is not always easy but this book gets it right by using very well thought out analogies. Instead of dense definitions it uses visual examples that kids between 6 and 9 can relate to their daily lives which makes the conversation flow much more naturally. The full color design and the infographics help them stay focused and keep their interest without getting lost in the text. It is a very well structured resource for families looking to go deeper into these topics without falling into confusing or overly simplistic explanations. A great support material to have at home.

Such a cute book.❤❤ It felt like we were with the little boy and girl as they learned the biggest concepts of Christianity. A lot of unaddressed church imagery and symbolism is tended to with perfect clarity. As an adult reading this book, I made new connections I had never considered before. The images, charts, and tables are so beautiful. They really bring it home. The only issue I have, which I mentioned to bring a helpful critique to the author, is that the font size and maybe the typeface need adjusting. It's a little small, and the type is not as clear for a children's book. it needs more spacing/ less "slant." OTHERWISE PERFECT READ if you are looking for a book to learn more about theology or teach it to your kids.

This is the most complete Christian teaching for kids I’ve ever read! The illustrations and analogies make it understandable and so much fun! It takes every aspect of the Christian faith and simplifies it. It’s not only appropriate for kids ages 6-9. Any new believer would benefit from this teaching! It is Christianity in a nutshell. Organized beautifully. I highly recommend!

As both a pastor and a grandparent, I’m always cautious when a book claims to teach “big theology” to young children. This one genuinely delivers. Systematic Theology for Kids (Ages 6–9) explains foundational Christian truths with clarity, reverence, and remarkable care. The analogies are thoughtful, the language is accessible without being childish, and the theology is sound. I appreciate how the book doesn’t shy away from depth, yet presents it in ways children can truly grasp and remember. The visuals are engaging and well organized, making it easy for kids to stay focused and for adults to guide meaningful conversations. I found myself thinking, I wish something like this had existed years ago—not only for children, but for new believers of any age. This is a resource I would confidently recommend to parents, grandparents, Sunday school teachers, and pastors alike. It builds a strong biblical foundation while nurturing curiosity, wonder, and a growing love for knowing God. Highly recommended—and one I’ll be returning to often with my grandchildren.

In the second one of the series that I've read, I found a great continuation of the author's imaginative and fun way of explaining theology. This installment of the series covers a ton of information for young kids in a way that is (mostly) gentle and very easy to understand. The illustrations make it fun to flip through and the entire book would be great for a parent to read to a young child or for a beginning reader to explore on their own. The one drawback is a subjective one: There's a page with a header, "The Bible Is True," and sayd that "Everything the Bible says is true. When it tells us about history, it REALLY happened." If you don't take the entirety of the Bible literally, know that this book leans that way and includes some fire and brimstone that I think might be a little intimidating for 6 - 9 year olds. But what do I know? If that's your thing, this is your book. Overall, the author did a wonderful job.

My friend showed me this book, and I looked it up on Amazon. The book itself is very nice - it explains religious terms in a simple manner and includes great illustrations. I just think that the title of the book is too complicated for kids, even though the term “theology” is explained at the very beginning.

Systematic Theology for Kids Aged 6-9 is a very interesting book. Its approach to God seems unique and original to me, with analogies to daily life and powerful, highly creative illustrations. Honestly, I think it's a work of art, ideal for parents who want to introduce their children to the Catholic faith.
